在21世纪的当下，我们还能够怎样书写一个爱情故事？《你答应给我写个爱情故事》从这个看似简单的问题出发，以碎片化结构和多重视角展开一组组关于相遇、欲望与亲密关系的故事。故事游走于罗马、巴黎、波兰与火车车厢等不同空间，而在所有故事背后，还有一位试图写出爱情故事的写作者。作品并非传统浪漫故事，而是对当代爱情叙事、亲密关系想象以及既有浪漫套路的敏锐反思。
How do you write a love story in the 21st century presence? You Promised Me a Love Story begins with this deceptively simple question and unfolds through a fragmented structure and multiple perspectives. The encounters take place in Rome, Paris, Poland and a train carriage. Behind them all is a writer trying to write a love story. Rather than following a conventional romantic plot, the play reflects on contemporary love, intimacy and the narratives through which we imagine romance today.

Founded in Barcelona in 1989 by playwright José Sanchis Sinisterra and directed by Toni Casares since 1997, Sala Beckett is a venue for theatrical training, experimentation, production and exhibition. It promotes playwriting and connects it with contemporary society. Through productions, readings, courses, laboratories, publications, international meetings and professional promotion services, Sala Beckett has become a key space for playwriting in Barcelona and a meeting place for Catalan and international drama.
