剧团介绍 Troupe information：LA VIE BRÈVE（短暂人生剧团）

短暂人生剧团，2009年由Jeanne Candel在巴黎创立，成员包括演员、音乐家、舞台导演、舞美设计师、服装设计师及技术人员，定期聚集开展阶段性研究与创作。

初始班底于培训期间相识并构成核心，此后不断演变、重新定义自身，以适应新剧创作需求。“集体创作”是其核心方法，演员、音乐家、歌手被视为创作者而非仅是表演者，这种多声部写作打破了职能与技术的界限。

聚焦音乐与戏剧的关系，以“戏剧手段做歌剧”，将音乐置上舞台：无论是现场演奏（多数演员受过爵士或古典训练）还是录音播放，音乐贯穿所有作品。其核心问题是音乐与戏剧如何同步“编织行动”，如何互动、对立、融合并拓展新维度；这促使其尝试多样研究过程与形式，不受教条约束，始终基于舞台实践与手工打磨。

作品融合绘画、电影、科学或哲学等多样材料，使表演边界灵活，用作即兴素材与舞台写作。

自2019年7月起运营巴黎Théâtre de l'Aquarium（水族馆剧院），打造音乐与戏剧交织之家，以“让每个角落律动”为座右铭，联合艺术家、演员-音乐家-歌手及驻留剧团，共同激活这一共鸣空间。

LA VIE BRÈVE

Founded in Paris in 2009 by Jeanne Candel, LA VIE BRÈVE is a French ensemble where actors, musicians, stage directors, set and costume designers, and technicians periodically gather for research and creation.

Its initial core met during training, yet LA VIE BRÈVE has continuously evolved, reshaping itself for each new production.Collective writing shapes its creations, placing actors, musicians, and singers as creators and authors, not mere performers—a polyphonic approach that dissolves traditional functional boundaries.

The ensemble explores the interplay of music and theatre, creating "opera with the means of theatre" and incorporating music—live (most performers have jazz or classical backgrounds) or recorded—into all shows. Rehearsals pose key questions: how music and theatre simultaneously "weave the action," and how they interact, oppose, merge, and deepen perspective. This leads them to experiment with various research processes and forms free from any dogma, rooted in the experience of the stage and its crafting.

Their creations are made of various materials that make performance boundaries flexible: pictorial, cinematographic, scientific or philosophical references are acting bases they invoke while improvising or stage writing.

Since July 2019,they have run the Théâtre de l'Aquarium in Paris, making it a house of creation for intertwined theatre and music. "Have people swing in each corner" is its leitmotiv. Associate artists, actor-musician-singers, and resident companies work to make this resonator vibrate.
